Hi I’m Jill!
I love to doodle. I doodle on everything, envelopes, my journals, scrap paper. If I have paper and pen there will be doodles. I’ve been using the bullet journal method of keeping my life organized for the past three years. I love the ability to design my life creatively.
I decided to take my love to doodle and journal one step further and create my own notebooks. Each one is hand stitched with either dot grid or blank pages. Each is made with premium, recycled paper. I’ve designed them to fit into most travel journals. I make them and use them. I hope you love them as much as I do.
Where I Got The Name “Glorious Tomato”
I mostly paint girls and flowers and fun pretty things. I wanted to find a name that represented that aesthetic, so I searched online for something that might match and I came across this article from Bustle. Mid-way through the article, I saw this description of a 1930s woman:
Era: The 1930s
Meaning: Yep, you guessed it: another term for an attractive lady. But this one also seems pretty gender-neutral. If you look ripe enough to bite into, you’re a total tomato.
Example Sentence: “That shirt makes you look like such a glorious tomato.”
I loved calling something a Glorious Tomato! I felt like it fit perfectly. I think in one way or another we are all Glorious Tomatoes.
